PTT Exploration and Production’s Finding Next Explorer Camp (FINEX), Kanchanaburi, Thailand (2022)
Camp Counselor
As a Camp Counselor at FINEX Camp, I facilitated geosciences activities for high school students, including lectures and field exercises.
We covered introductions to rocks, minerals, and petroleum elements, which proved essential during the petroleum block bid round simulation.
In the field, we explored topics such as faults, folds, rock classification, and description.
My favorite aspect of this camp was teaching students how to use a geological compass to measure strike and dip.
Jackson School of Geosciences- Geoscience Ambassador Program (2018-2019)
Geoscience Ambassador
I joined the Geosciences Ambassador Program because I am passionate about drawing high school students’ attention to geosciences as a career with my geosciences pathway story.
Our cohort consisted of individuals who are dedicated to inspiring the next generation in their respective hometowns.
As an geoambassador, I organized and conducted geoscience outreach events for high school students in Thailand. These events included classroom presentations and a session for homeschooled children, collectively reaching over 400 students.
We also had a field trip to the Rock and Mineral Museum at the Department of Mineral Resources in Bangkok.

UT Austin OnRamp Program
Geoscience (2019)
Guest Lecturer
The UT Austin OnRamp Program aims to enhance the success of K-12 students by offering high-quality distance education to students and teachers in Texas.
The program provides courses from various disciplines, including Geoscience. Many of the former OnRamp students later became my peers at UT.
I had the privilege of sharing my research project on the geomorphology of San Jose Island as a supplementary component of the Geoscience course during the session titled ‘Perspectives in Geoscience: Geologic Hazards.’
The video was presented after the students had learned about geologic hazards such as earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, and coastal erosion.
